When your fate in the Big Brother Australia house is decided by the viewers, there’s no telling who is safe and who will be eliminated.
The reality television program has returned to Channel 10 with Mel Tracina as host. With this network change, the power has returned to the audience for the first time in years!
“I find it so enjoyable when you know the housemate might nominate another housemate [to leave] for XYZ. But the public go, ‘oh no, XYZ is why I love them. I know you find it annoying because you’re living with them, but I’m not’,” Mel previously explained to The Weekly.
The first housemate sent packing occurred just a week after its 2025 premiere. Below, we reveal who has been eliminated from Big Brother Australia 2025 so far.
Who has left Big Brother Australia 2025 so far?
Conor
Conor entered Big Brother with a mission: dismantle the stigma around Tourette’s syndrome. He was a passionate and friendly face, until it came to a stern management of rations which made him clash with other housemates.
“When the opportunity came up, I was like, wow, this is the biggest chance ever. Live, every night of the week, non-stop. I really wanted that full vision of what it is,” Conor said.
“I’m so used to a lot of negativity, people saying, ‘That’s not real, that’s not how it is’… having [the housemates] show me so much acceptance so fast really blew my mind.”
“$135,000 would have been great, but that’s not why I came in here… I came in here to make a difference in kids’ lives, to make a difference in people with disabilities’ lives, and I’ve done that.”
Edward
Edward may have been one of the quieter housemates on Big Brother, but he became a respite.
“We got very close, some more than others, but they saw every side of me, my good and bad times,” Edward told host Mel of his housemates.
“It just took me some time to get to know people, I didn’t want to throw myself with the boys club straight away, it was really nice to get to know some of the other people really well… it was awesome.”
Vincent
Big Brother fans weren’t impressed with the brutal eviction of housemate, Vinnie.
The housemates were woken from their deep sleep, forced to dress up in a Christmas ensemble. They sung Jingle Bells, but the last verse of the song was changed to reveal Vinnie was chosen by the public to exit the reality show.
“This is a lowkey evil way to evict someone,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Abiola
Days before the elimination episode, the housemates were given a choice: stay or steal $15,000 from the total prize pool and leave.
Abiola was quick to take the money. Her motives were undoubtedly clear. Abiola wanted to go to the dentist and service her car which her late mum left her when she was 13 years old.
“When the $15k came up I had to stand by my word because I had been telling everyone, even Big Brother… I just want to service my car and go to the dentist! So, I’m very happy with my experience in the house,” she told host Mel.
Holly
Holly was up for eviction yet again, but unfortunately, she received the least amount of votes from the public this time. The young model was up against Bruce, Vinnie, and Conor.
“It’s been one hell of a ride. I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it to the finals so I’m just proud I made it this far,” she told host Mel.
Mia
In a shock double elimination, Mia was one of two housemates who exited Big Brother. The housemates were lead to believe only one contestants would be leaving, but Big Brother had a surprise elimination! And the second elimination was completely left up to one lucky caller to decide who was safe and who wasn’t.
On the chopping block were Mia, Allana, and Jane.
“I thought, oh my gosh I’m saved. I was devastated that [Jane] was gone but I was like, okay Australia saved me. But that’s the thing with Big Brother, there’s always a twist!” Mia said following her elimination.
“I just couldn’t believe I got chosen for this and got to meet such incredible people. I’ve learned so much and I can’t wait to carry that outside with me.”
Jane
Jane was the first contestant to leave the house during the shock double elimination episode.
“It was hard because… every day I’ve been in the house I’ve been nominated so it’s been really quite difficult,” Jane said to host Mel Tracina after her eviction.
Jane also commented on her gassy housemates: “It’s absolutely been disgusting. It was a little bit inappropriate, it was a shock… I did lose it, and I didn’t take it very well but hey, that’s just me and I said I was going to be me and call it out!”
Michael
Michael had one intention coming into the Big Brother house, and that was to stir the pot… While it is what ultimately got him eliminated, Michael has no regrets.
“I didn’t want to go in there and not ruffle feathers. I went in there, ruffled feathers and here I am! But, if I went back in [to the house]… I’d do it all again, absolutely,” he told Mel.
The Publisher and CEO was the first contestant to be eliminated in the 2025 season. He was up against fellow housemates Holly and Jane.
