Leading the helm as host of the 2025 is Mel Tracina, best known for her role on the comedy panel TV show, The Cheap Seats.

This may just be the most exciting season of Big Brother viewers have seen in a while! Not only is the reality series returning to Channel 10 after many years with Nine, but also it’s also returning to its original film location in Dream World.

Jane

Retiree, 67, VIC

“THIS IS NOT A DRILL, A DIVA HAS SNUCK INTO THE HOUSE,” Big Brother shared o Instagram.

Jane was the thirteenth contestant to enter the house, having entered the night after the premiere. At 67-years-old, she is the oldest Australian housemate ever.

She is a single mother with two sons and four grandsons, a funny and loyal person. Jane is also a passionate lover of U.S. President Donald Trump, but she’ll try to keep her political agenda quiet.

Michael

Publisher, 49, NSW

Michael is an outgoing, funny, and opinionated which often lands him in hot water! As a single dad of three teenagers, the 49-year-old has navigated the many ups and downs of love.

He plans to bring maturity, mischief and a no-nonsense attitude to the house.

Mia

Bunnings Shop Assistant, 23, VIC

Mia is bringing her contagious laugh and energy to the BB house! But she isn’t here to just play nice…

The 23-year-old admits she can certainly hold a grudge, plot revenge and isn’t afraid to burn a bridge if needed.

Holly

Model, 31, WA

Bombshell Holly is a model from WA, describing herself as a unicorn: “fabulous, untamed, and impossible to ignore!”

She is more switched-on than people give her credit for, taking mere seconds to read a room. Holly is social, self-aware, and a avid cat mum.

Emily

Primary School Teacher, 30, WA

A big heart, quick wit, and self-confessed hypochondriac. Emily is a 30-year-old teacher who is happily married to her childhood best friend.

She hopes to show Australia that being quirky, emotional and chaotic can be something to celebrate.

Sales Manager, 30, SA

Enter, the classic Australian bloke. Edward is down-to-earth and loves drinking beers with his mates, but is also a self-confessed softy who wears his heart on his sleeve.

The 30-year-old has also never had a girlfriend – could he find love with a housemate?

Conor

Disability Advocate, 31, QLD

Proud larrikin living with Tourette’s, Conor is here to represent and challenge perceptions. He also survived a hit-and-run at just 18, where he then became a proud voice for neurodivergence.

Aspiring MMA Fighter, 21, NSW

Cheek, charm and utter chaos all combined into one person. Colin, 21, is an aspiring MMA fighter, who cannot wait to stir the pot and “steal the limelight.”

Coco

Early Education, 30, NSW

Coco is a single mum of three kids, who recently walked away from her 11-year childcare career and a broken marriage. The 30-year-old is seriously determined having survived two tumours, chest surgery, and the heartbreak of losing her father.

Bruce

Bruce thrives on being the centre of attention – whether its positive or negative. With a flair for the dramatic, the 25-year-old is loud and cheeky.

Raised in a small town with traditional parents, Bruce also is a firm believer in traditional relationships where the wife stays at home with the kids.

Social Worker, 45, QLD

Allana has dry wit and wild stories that will make her unforgettable in the Big Brother house. The incredibly loyal social worker isn’t afraid to call out bad behaviour, always speaking her truth.
