Farmer Wants A Wife Australia with a brand new flock of men looking for love, including rodeo cowboy Farmer Dylan.
It is a wonder that no one has snatched up the six-foot-tall farmer – which is only lucky for our new FWAW 2026 contestants vying for his heart.
“[I want] to find that special lady that I can share and build a life with,” Farmer Dylan confessed to The Weekly. “I spend a lot of my time focusing and learning to work with horses, and working on the property at home. So, dating gets put on the back burner.”
“I’m at a stage in my life now where I’m ready to buckle down. I thought that this would be the best opportunity to find someone that’s willing to jump on board.”
In his day job, Dylan, 24, is shearing and taking care of sheep in Cherry Gardens in South Australia. But this farmer’s dream is becoming a successful bronco rider.
He was first introduced to the sport while working on The Kimberleys Cattle Station, watching his boss and head stockman. When he returned, Dylan bought the first saddle he’d seen and “jumped on the rodeo circuit.”
“I learned pretty quickly that it’s a lot harder than it looks,” he confessed.
And, as it turns out, the nerves before jumping on that horse are the same as searching for love on television.
“I’ve been rodeo riding for two years now, and I think the nerves are probably the same… when it comes to dating ladies and meeting them for the first time, it is daunting.”
Opening his heart his no problem, yet sharing those feelings to multiple ladies and Australia is another thing altogether.
“I’m a one man band. I’m not the kind of operator that ventures into dating more than one lady at once,” he shared.
“It’s really a matter of self-development, because you’re really trying to understand and find your lady. I’ve got great ladies, and it’s just a matter of trying to connect on a deeper level while trying not to upset anyone.”
Despite his best efforts, it seems Dylan is going to have one wild journey on FWAW.
In the teaser trailer for the new farmer, three women took centre stage in the race for his heart. While we’re yet to find out the identities of these women, we can already tell they’re sweeping Farmer Dylan off their feet.
“Guys perceive me as the polo princess,” one blonde contestant said. “My approach with men: play hard to get,” she continues, as one other girl runs away in tears.
It seems Farmer Dylan’s search for love is going to be muddled with drama…
We even see Farmer Dylan run into one of the girls interviews for a surprise kiss moments after she disappointedly claimed there was “no kiss” after their romantic day together.
Viewers are yet to discover what the other four farmers: Alex, Jarrad, Jason, and Zac, have in-store for us. Farmer Wants A Wife is returning to Channel Seven on Monday, June 8!
