Married At First Sight Australia’s (MAFS) Filip and Stella are engaged!
For the final vows of the 2026 MAFS season, the lovebirds stood with Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge in the background as they reflected on the previous three months together.
Stella declared Filip was her soulmate, promising to continue “choosing you everyday.”
“Standing here at the end of this incredible experiment, I can say with absolute certainty that we’re soulmates,” she said. “I feel it in every heartbeat, in every look, in every moment I get to share with you.”
“I found home in you and I cannot wait to build the rest of our lives there with you. I love you.”
In his emotional vows, Filip reflected on how Stella had changed him.
“You made me believe in love again Stella. You’ve shown me what kindness, loyalty, and genuine care look like,” Filip said. “I see our future so vividly… everyday you bring out the best version of me and remind me of what love truly is.
“Stella, I love you more than I ever thought possible and I’ve never felt more certain of anything. I know what my heart wants, something just for us, something that is truly ours,” he said.
Then, in a moment that no viewer expected, Filip dropped to one knee and proposed.
“Stella, will you marry me?”
Overwhelmed and ecstatic by the news, Stella was lost for words. So much so that she didn’t even give Filip an answer, merely kissing him over and over again. Filip asked multiple times until Stella finally said “yes!”
“I feel like I’m having an out of body experience,” Stella said. “I can’t wait.”
Soon enough, Stella will walk down the aisle once again. This time, however, a stranger won’t be waiting for her at the end, but the love of her life.
“Three months ago, I was a single pringle, doing the most unhinged thing in my life. I never thought I would go on TV and try to find a husband,” she said.
Given a few months have passed since this moment, the pair have already discussed wedding plans with Daily Mail. With both families having strong ties in Europe, the lovebirds are looking at a destination wedding.
“We always spoke about doing a European wedding,” Filip explained. “Now that we’ve done an Australian one, it just makes sense – all of our family is either in Croatia or Lithuania. It’ll be something low-key… definitely not on national TV, but who knows.”
As for has made the invite list, there were a few MAFS participants excluded.
“All the guys are welcome,” Filip said, with Stella adding, “I think the girls would be Rachel, Alissa and Bec… that’s who I kept closest to post the experiment. I don’t think there’ll be many more on the women’s side.”
With a proposal glow, the MAFS producers were quick to ask Stella and Filip about starting a family. To which Filip was ecstatic at the idea of having children.
Unfortunately, his children will be subject to a “que” of dad jokes!
