It has been discovered that Nicole Kidman was hospitalised after pushing herself too hard while filming Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
The book-to-screen adaptation is the Australian actress’ latest project, appearing as a former professional wrestler, Lace.

Details of Nicole’s hospital visit emerged after Nick Offerman, her co-star, reflected on their first day filming during an interview with People.
On this day, they were filming Jinx (Nick’s character) reunite with Lace and her daughter Margo (Elle Fanning). It was a “huge set piece,” with “hundreds of extras,” Nick noted.
“We’re there in the morning, we’re getting warmed up — some of us are going to be performing some actual wrestling, and so we have our doubles, we have people we’re working with,” Nick told People.
“And the word comes in that Nicole has the flu, and we might not get Nicole today. And we’re like, ‘Oh no, that’s such a bummer, because we only have the one day that we’ve built this whole circus for.’”
This news arrived at 8:00 in the morning, but just a few hours later, Nicole arrived on set “so sick.”
“She was so pale, shaken. She just had the flu really so bad,” he added.

“She showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character.”
The Parks & Rec star, in awe of her “astonishing” determination, said Nicole was later taken to hospital “for an IV.”
The 59-year-old hasn’t made any comments on the hospitalisation. However, she has previously expressed her nervousness about getting injured while playing a wrestler.
A feeling the tenacious actress quickly overcame.
“When I got in the ring, I just went, ‘Okay, let’s go’,” she told People during the New York premiere. “I would love to do more wrestling.”
Margo’s Got Money Troubles, which Nicole also produces, released to Apple TV on April 15.
