Harrison Ford was playful on the red carpet
Harrison Ford was clearly feeling playful on the red carpet; the actor hid behind a curtain…

Kristen Bell nailed her opening monologue
Kristen Bell, host of this year’s SAG Awards, nailed her opening monologue. The actress began by poignantly paying tribute to LAFD firefighters. She then had the audience in stitches by singing a parody version of ‘Do You Want A Build A Snowman?’ from Frozen. The new lyrics hilariously highlighted how various actors from Jamie Lee Curtis to Selena Gomez got their start in acting.

Timothée Chalamet stuffed up while presenting
Poor Timothée Chalamet stuffed up while presenting during the ceremony; he clearly couldn’t read the teleprompter and so, there was an awkward pause. The actor played it off effortlessly, joking that he “should’ve had a rehearsal.”

Jamie Lee Curtis revealed she got COVID at the Golden Globes
When Jamie Lee Curtis presented the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series, she hilariously said, “And the award goes to the man who gave me COVID at the Golden Globes, Colin Farrell.” The Penguin actor replied with, “Guilty as charged,” before revealing Brendan Gleeson gave it to him.

Jane Fonda took home a Life Achievement Award
Icon Jane Fonda was awarded with a Life Achievement Award at this year’s SAG Awards. She rightfully was given a standing ovation as she took to the stage and said during her acceptance speech:
“This means the world to me… And your enthusiasm makes this less of a twilight moment of my life and more of a, ‘You go girl, kick ass’ moment, which is good because I’m not done!”
She went on to talk about her career and the importance of unions before she joked, “And I can summon voices,” when there was a tech problem and an announcer’s voice accidentally started when Jane was mid-speech.
Jane then emotionally advocated for women as well as empathy.
“Being empathetic isn’t woke. And by the way, woke just means you give a damn about other people.”

Keke Palmer made the guests play a drinking game
Keke Palmer — while presenting Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role with Colman Domingo — jokingly told anyone in the audience who’s appeared in an episode of Law and Order to take a drink. There were two New Girl reunions
The 2025 SAG Awards was just full of reunions! Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield, who both starred in New Girl, presented the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series together. Only Murders in the Building finally won some awards
Only Murders in the Building has been nominated for several awards this awards season but has never won… Until now! At the SAG Awards, the comedy show took home Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Selena Gomez accepted the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and joked, “We never win!”
