When Stanley Tucci isn’t looking for the heart of Italy, charming everyone with his love of food and wine on social media, or starring in award-winning films, he’s hanging out with his wife, Felicity Blunt.
Best known for his roles in films like Devil Wears Prada and Julie & Julia, his love life has been shaped by devastating loss and a second chance at happiness.
Who was Stanley Tucci’s first wife?
Stanley Tucci’s first marriage was to Kathryn Tucci (née Spath), whom he wed in 1995. During their marriage, Stanley and Kathryn briefly separated, and Stanley had a brief relationship with fellow actor Edie Falco. However, it ended, and Kathryn and Stanley reconciled.
Sadly, she died of breast cancer in 2009, aged just 47 years old.
“You never stop grieving,” Stanley said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning. “It’s still hard. And it will always be hard. But you can’t let it… and she would never want any of us to ever wallow in that grief and let it take over our lives. She would never want that. She wasn’t like that.”

In an interview with The Guardian, he again spoke about the grief of losing his first wife.
“It’s always there. But if it were to stay as prominent in your life as it does at the beginning, you couldn’t function. You couldn’t take care of your kids. You couldn’t hold a job. You couldn’t do anything. So, whether we know it or not, we tell ourselves to let it go. And also, the person who died would not want you to be that way. Although I do want my wife to be that way when I die. I want her to be incredibly unhappy.”
When did Stanley Tucci marry Felicity Blunt?
Stanley met Felicity Blunt at his Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt’s wedding to John Krasinski in 2010. Felicity is Emily’s older sister.
The couples had a family reunion moment on the Devil Wear’s Prada 2 red carpet premiere. See below:

They became engaged to one another a year later and married in a civil ceremony the following year.
Felicity originally trained to be a lawyer, but works as a literary agent. They live in London together.
“I never imagined when my wife died that I would marry a person so much younger,” Stanley said in an interview with The Standard. He is 21 years Felicity’s senior.”I never had any interest in it — and honestly, I’m not just saying that to not sound like a lech. I had no interest. I wanted to be with someone my own age, or even older, because of my vanity.”
“But my wife, first of all, is so much more mature than me that her actual years don’t mean anything. She’s an extraordinary step-parent, and her affection for my children and their affection for her eclipsed any age gap.”

Does Stanley Tucci have any children?
Yes, Stanley Tucci has five children. He has three children with his first wife, Kathryn (Camilla, and twins Nicolo and Isabel). They also raised two children from her previous marriage. Stanley also shares a son, Matteo Oliver Tucci and a daughter, Emilia Giovanna, with his second wife, Felicity Blunt.
