Read on for all the details.

What is The Kimberley?
The Kimberley is a breathtaking TV series that explores one of Australia’s most remote and ecologically rich regions.
Spanning over 400,000 square kilometres in the country’s northwest, the series captures the landscapes, wildlife, and deep cultural ties of this extraordinary place through the lens of six traditional Nyikina seasons.
Who is the host of The Kimberley TV series?
The docuseries is guided by proud Nyikina man and acclaimed actor Mark Coles Smith.

As for why he wanted to be a part of The Kimberley, Mark told The Weekly:
“It’s easy to take what we have for granted. In order for us not to do that, the best thing we can do is tell the story of the Kimberley, of all the animals that live here and the country that exists.”
Mark is best known for Last Cab to Darwin, Mystery Road: Origin, and Apple Cider Vinegar.

Not to mention, he has an AACTA Award and a Gold Logie nomination under his belt.
