Every married couple knows that keeping the romance alive can be tough. Combine the stresses of modern life with work and children, and it can often feel like that spark is harder and harder to ignite.
Prince William and Princess Catherine have three young children and very public jobs that invite a whole lot of scrutiny into their personal lives.
Plus, it has long been rumoured that the British royal family has a rule about public displays of affection; something Prince Harry seemingly confirmed in his memoir Spare.

“The older generation maintained a nearly zero-tolerance prohibition on all physical contact,” Harry wrote.
“No hugs, no kisses, no pats. Now and then, maybe a light touching of cheeks… on special occasions.”

So it’s completely understandable that Prince William and Princess Catherine are not quite so forthcoming when it comes to PDA.

In September 2024, Catherine shared the wonderful news that she had finished chemotherapy. The Princess of Wales did so by releasing a video that featured several sweet clips of her and the Wales family. And one clip in particular showed Catherine and William laughing and holding hands.
