Optimistic Brook has been matched with Chris, the “eternal cynic”, on Married At First Sight Australia 2026.
The 27-year-old model from Queensland has been unlucky in love since she was 14 years old. While talking to relationship expert, John Aiken, Brook said at least 80 per cent of her relationships involved cheating.

“The last time I got cheated on, I didn’t even cry. I was so fed up,” she shared.
Putting her faith in the MAFS experts, Brook hopes to find someone trustworthy, tall, funny, tanned and loyal.
As for Chris’ dream match, he wants someone brunette, petite, tan and fit. He’s also very clear on the type of woman he doesn’t want.
“If I turn around and see a short, overweight blonde girl, fake tan, caked on little pink cheeks, I’m gone,” he told MAFS producers.
Chris is a 31-year-old construction supervisor from Victoria who considers himself “boy’s boy” with no platonic female friendships, and little hope in the experiment.
“I’ve been pretty sceptical about this whole experiment. Statistically, the numbers don’t look great and at times, I feel the experts got their degree from a cereal box,” Chris said in his vows, with Brook quickly noticing the negativity. “With that, let’s be the .00001 percent that works from this experiment.”
Next up, was their first kiss which turned into a cuddle and a kiss on the cheek.

“I hope it puts him in his place,” she said. “You got to earn your stripes.”
However, Chris and his mates thought the gesture was “strange.”
“Like at least kiss me on the f—–g wedding stand… like I’m sure she’s kissed f—–g that many people. It just annoys me. Because I have to work for it, I f—–ghate working for it,” he told MAFS producers.
Despite this frustration, Chris admitted he was happy with the expert’s decision during the wedding reception.
