Married At First Sight Australia’s 2026 bride, Brook Crompton is pregnant, and it’s not with her match Chris.
The 27-year-old model from Queensland is pregnant with her former partner Harry, 28, who reconnected after she’d exited the MAFS experiment.
“This is everything I’ve ever wanted – to be with a partner who supports me and loves me for me,” Brook told Woman’s Day.
In her audition tape, Brook revealed she had broken up with her boyfriend two weeks prior – but three months before production began. But in the interview with Woman’s Day, beau Harry revealed he “came crawling back.”
“But he had to put in the hard yards, because he broke up with me,” laughs Brook.
The couple were together for a short while when Brook discovered her pregnancy.
“I had a dream that I was pregnant,” the MAFS bride explained. “I woke up and thought, ‘That was crazy,’ but I did a pregnancy test… and it was positive!” In disbelief, the couple went on to do several more tests, all of which said the same thing.
The 27-year-old took the pregnancy test in November and is expecting the bub to arrive in August 2026.
Is MAFS’ Brook Crompton engaged?
Pregnancy wasn’t the only news Brook shared with Woman’s Day. While holidaying in Aspen, Colorado, Harry dropped to one knee on Christmas Day.
“I genuinely wasn’t expecting it,” Brook shared. “I thought maybe he’d propose after we had the baby… it was so beautiful.”
What has MAFS’ Chris said?
Following the announcement, Chris spoke to TV WEEK, revealing, “I’m focusing on myself.”
“I’m going forward from the show because it’s been a whirlwind of experiences and emotion. I came out of it wanting to push forward in life and work on certain things in particular that are of my interest,” he said.
Why did MAFS Brook Crompton and her ex break up?
In her first episode of MAFS, Brook detailed how the majority of her relationships ended due to infidelity. However, Brook assured it was a lack of communication and little time that led to her break up with Harry.
“There wasn’t infidelity – Harry would never. It wasn’t a toxic ending or anything. He was just so busy with work,” Brook told the publication.
How did Brook and Chris end on MAFS?
The publication revealed Brook and Chris’ MAFS marriage came to a disastrous end after an “incident” which played out off-screen.
“Right from the get-go, I was like, ‘This person is not for me.’ It was very much like, I’ve been paired with this person for TV ratings,” she told Woman’s Day.
“I was only on the show for two weeks, we didn’t even kiss!”
