After a letter hinted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be visiting Australia, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally confirmed our suspicions.
So far, two major Australian cities have been identified as a pit stop for the couple. But the pair haven’t visited Australia since 2018, so we have no doubt there are more exciting stops along the way.
Meghan and Prince Harry will visit Australia in mid-April 2026. Below is everything we know about their upcoming trip.
Why are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle coming to Australia?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will partake in two major events, hosted in Melbourne and Sydney.
From April 15 to April 16, Prince Harry will join the InterEdge Summit in Melbourne as a keynote speaker. The inaugural conference discusses Australia’s mental health crisis in the workplace, advocating for strategies that create healthy and supportive environments.

Meanwhile, Meghan will be a headline guest speaker of Her Best Life, described as the “girls weekend like no other.” The event will be held in Sydney from April 17 to April 19.
Her Best Life podcast is hosted by Gemma O’Neill – originally founded by herself and Jackie O Henderson who exited months ago. Both Meghan and Gemma will discuss, “life, parenting, relationships, building a global business and navigating a public persona.”
Will Archie and Lilibet also visit Australia?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will not be joining them in Australia.
The original announcement shared by their spokesperson only identified Meghan and Prince Harry as the attendees.
When was Meghan Markle and Prince Harry last in Australia?
The last time the Sussexes were in Australia was for the Invictus Games in Sydney in 2018. Prince Harry is the founder of the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded, injured or sick servicemen and women.
The couple’s arrival also coincided with the announcement of Meghan’s pregnancy with her first child, Archie. The palace shared the news within hours of their arrival on Australian soil.

Their Australian itinerary took them beyond Sydney, including stops in Melbourne and Dubbo, where they met farmers dealing with drought, local schoolchildren and community groups. Throughout the visit, they highlighted causes close to their hearts, including veterans’ welfare, mental health, and community resilience. The tour also offered plenty of classic royal moments, from iconic harbour-side photos to meeting some koala bears.
The visit formed part of a broader 16-day tour of the South Pacific, which included Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
When was Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Australia trip first teased?
Celebrity Astrologer Angela Pearl let the news slip on an Instagram post she shared on 12 November 2025. Angela lives in Australia and has posted tarot card readings from Uluru, Australia’s spiritual heart.

She captioned the post, “Still in awe of this special evening. Thank you, Prince Harry and Meghan, for the warm invitation and inspiring conversation.”
In addition to a photo of herself and the Sussexes, she also shared a letter she received from them, dated 24 October 2025. In that letter, signed by Prince Harry and Meghan, they share their gratitude for joining them at the private event and mention their potential visit to Australia. The letter features Meghan’s royal cypher, which is a cursive M (which also looks like an H) with a crown.
“On a separate note, we hope your family in Ukraine remain safe, and we look forward to staying in touch, especially as we look to visit Australia again.”
