The 2025 ARIA Awards returned to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on November 19, bringing together Australia’s biggest music names — and a red carpet packed with standout fashion moments. This year’s arrivals offered a mix of established designers, emerging local labels and bold personal style, giving the awards a refreshed sartorial edge.
Always a great night for fashion, you can find more iconic looks from previous years here.
What are the ARIA Awards?
The ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association Awards) are Australia’s biggest annual music awards, celebrating achievements across the local recording industry. First held in 1987, the ARIAs recognise excellence in areas like Best Album, Best Song, Best Artist, Breakthrough Artist, and a range of genre categories.
They’re voted on by industry members, with some public-voted categories depending on the year. The event doesn’t just honour Australian music talent, it also has memorable live performances and a great red carpet.
From high-shine sequins and futuristic tailoring to more classic eveningwear, the 2025 ARIA Awards carpet reflected the diversity of Australia’s music scene. Here are our favourite looks of the evening (we will add more as the night continues!).
Best fashion looks from the 2025 ARIA Awards:
Fashion Critical
One of our favourite looks of the night aptly comes from Fashion Critical! Wearing a Mary Ioannidis dress with a Somewhere Here custom headpiece in her signature face-obscuring look.
The fashion critic and influencer recently launched their namesake book, Fashion Critical, that is available to purchase now.
Angela Bishop
Wearing a mini-metallic dress with cute puff sleeves and a nice jewel-encrusted collar, paired with black loafers and fun jewelled socks, 10 News’s Angela Bishop was the perfect mix of style and comfort.
Emma Watkins aka Emma Memma
Former yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins, aka Emma Memma, looked every bit a princess in this gorgeous floor-length gown and her red locks perfectly coiffed in effortless curls. Emma was the first woman to be a member of the Wiggles and was so popular she starred in her own spinoff series, Emma!. She now has her own solo children’s character, Emma Memma and won an ARIA Award in 2023 for Best Children’s Album with her first solo album.
Kate Ceberano
A day after the Aussie artist’s birthday, Kate Ceberano graced the ARIA Awards red carpet in a white gown with a dramatic black cape. Adding to the drama are her gorgeous golden earrings.
The ARIA Award-winning artist is fresh off the back of her tour, The Australian Made Tour, which she described as “a love letter to the artists, bands, audiences and storytellers who I’ve travelled with over this vast continent for four decades, a deep dive into what makes ME an Australian artist: my hungry heart holding their words to my chest, making them the soundtrack to my life.”
Dylan Alcott AO
Looking extra sleek in this brown blazer is former Australian of the Year, Paralympian, and tennis legend, Dylan Alcott AO.
The Wiggles
The current Wiggles looked bright-eyed and colourful on the ARIA Award red carpet, from stunning suits to cowboy hats!
Isabella Manfredi
We adore this look from Isabella Manfredi. She’s wearing an Alix Higgins dress with a Kitty Callaghan design. The frontwoman of The Preatures looked absolutely ethereal as she walked the red carpet.
Larissa Lambert
Looking like an extra from the Dune chronicles was up-and-coming Australian artist, Larissa Lambert. We love the sweeping dress-tail-turned-hood with gems in her hair.
Melanie Bracewell
The New Zealander comedian, writer, and host of The Cheap Seats looked fabulous in this metallic number with matching silver heels and handbag.
Amy Taylor
Frontwoman of Amyl and the Sniffers, Amy Taylor, brought serious cool-girl attitude with this black leather number with studs, clasps and thousands of safety pins. She softened the look with a nice bouquet of flowers.
Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon
Everyone’s favourite Australian Olympic couple, Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon, looked loved up and ready to party at the ARIA Awards. Cody is a presenter this year. Although he looked great in his brown leather jacket, Emma stole the show with her pinstriped playsuit and matching blazer.
G-Flip
G-Flip was looking pretty slick in an excellent two-piece set with pinstripe and metallic button closure.
Baker Boy
We love this futuristic look from Baker Boy! From the shimmering top, to the matching pants, BB belt and chunky shoes. One of our favourite looks from the men tonight.
Georgie Tunny and Olivia Dean
Olivia Dean has made waves in the music scene around the world, and we were so happy to see her grace the red carpet. She chose to wear this opulent floor-length black Richard Quinn gown with his signature large white blossom on the corset.
She shared a few giggles as Georgie Tunny interviewed her. Georgie was looking fantastic as well in this deep purple structured dress paired with red heels!

Justine Clarke
Justine was elegant and graceful in this burgundy dress from Rebecca Vallance.
Tkay Maidza
Tkay always serves up an iconic look. We love this artistic bird-nest-esque dress she chose for the red carpet. But, she also had a second dress for presenting an award that was apparently made of 40kg of chainmail!
Pip Edwards
This is the little black dress of our dreams! Riffles for added texture, pockets (!), and a heart-shaped bag to match. Unsurprisingly, Pip Edwards, was effortlessly stylish on the ARIA Awards’ red carpet.
JACOTÉNE
Up-and-coming Aussie R&B/soul artist JACOTÉNE wore this incredible Lever Du Soleil asymmetrical wool navy blazer tulle gown designed by John Klif, who is an emerging designer from Melbourne.

The radio presenter (and award show host!) looked phenomenal in this Grace Presow dress.
Tim Blackwell and Lizzie Baxter
The couple looked very much in love as they graced the red carpet of the ARIAs.
Vv Pete
We love this sparkling look from Aussie artist Vv Pete.
Adam Hyde and Abbie Chatfield
Adam Hyde, aka Kellie Holiday, aka one part of Peking Duk, looked dapper alongside his partner, media personality and podcast host, Abbie Chatfield. The two looked smitten with one another as they had a dance on the red carpet.
KYE
KYE was giving a Gilda-the-Good-Witch look with this soft pink gown.
Missy Higgins
Missy Higgins was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame last year and won an ARIA award for her latest album. She wore this beautiful patchwork and tassle mini dress from ALÉMAIS, Australian Fashion Laureate of the Year 2024.
