Yes. Platform diving for women was introduced at the 1912 Stockholm Games. And the women’s springboard was introduced at the 1920 Antwerp Games.

Our three Gold medals were won at the 1924 Paris Games, the 2004 Athens Games and the 2008 Beijing Games by Richmond ‘Dick’ Eve, Chantelle Newbery and Matthew Mitcham respectively.

Who has the highest dive score in Olympic history?

For a long time, Australia’s Matthew Mitcham had the highest single dive score in Olympic history. In 2008, he was awarded 9.0, 9.5, 9.5, 10, 10, 10 and 10 points, giving him a total of 112.10 points for a single dive.

This was surpassed in 2021 though by China’s Yang Jian; he was awarded 123 points for a single dive at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
