Carrie Bickmore and Fifi Box are the epitome of strong, supportive female friendship.
After first meeting in 2014, when Fifi appeared as a guest panellist on Carrie’s show The Project, the duo quickly became pals.
Flashforward to 2023, and Carrie and Fifi are best friends; they regularly go on trips together, their daughters are close friends and the two are set to appear in Season 2 of Celebrity Gogglebox Australia together on October 25.
“I already spend time on Fifi’s couch watching TV and chatting, so this really is the perfect gig for us,” Carrie said when it was first announced she and Fifi would partake in the celebrity version of the popular series.
“How could I pass up the opportunity to hang out on the couch with my mate?” asked Fifi.

In November 2022, during Carrie’s final episode hosting The Project, Fifi appeared as a guest panellist and the two got extremely emotional reminiscing about how their friendship first started.
“We’ve gone on to share so much together and if there’s anything I take from this show, it’s that I met you. Thank you so much Fifi, it’s been an absolute pleasure,” Carrie said.
“You are phenomenal and you’re my rock, and you just mean the world to me,” Fifi said in return.

Also in October 2022, Fifi congratulated her bestie for announcing her departure from The Project. “So proud of this incredible woman and amazing friend; my BFF… She is incredible, pure class, an absolute star and every night I sat next to her on the desk I just watched on in awe.
“This is such a brave and courageous decision to step away but I know there will be so many more exciting adventures to come and lots of family time that you will never regret,” Fifi wrote on Instagram.
