An award-winning broadcaster and proud Gamilaroi man, Tony Armstrong is shining a light on racism in sport with a new three-part documentary series.

Before Tony was a well-recognised face on television, he played AFL for Adelaide, Collingwood and Sydney.

His AFL career came to an end more than a decade ago. But he is digging up the past so that he may understand how to create real change in the sporting world. 

“Enough is enough,” a frustrated Tony said.

The unmissable documentary series is titled End Game with Tony Armstrong. Below, we are answering all the vital questions about the docuseries. 

When does End Game with Tony Armstrong air? 

As we previously mentioned, End Game with Tony Armstrong is a three-part docuseries. 

The first episode premiered on October 21, 2025, at 8:30pm on ABC TV. The following two episodes will be released on Tuesdays, so October 28 and November 4. 

However, all three episodes are available for immediate streaming on ABC iview

What is End Game with Tony Armstrong about?

Tony is determined to find new systems, technologies and leaders needed to create change in the sport industry. 

Using the knowledge of athletes, industry professionals and academics, he will explore online abuse, how athletes have impacted legislative reforms, and discrimination. 

The first episode see’s Tony venture to the United Kingdom, followed by the United States and the Cayman Islands before returning to Australia.

Which athletes will feature in End Game with Tony Armstrong?

In End Game with Tony Armstrong, he will speak to athletes, business professionals, advocates, and academics. 

Among the athletes Tony chats with include English footballer Rio Ferdinand, Former Liverpool footballer John Barnes, cricket legend Michael Holding, former AFLW player Akec Makur Chuot, cricketer Ash Gardner, and another cricketer Usman Khawaja. 

He also speaks to a number of CEOs including Andrew Abdo, Zoe Kalar, Angela LaChica, and NBA executive James Cadogan.
