After years of speculation, Married At First Sight Australia’s Erin Bateman has confirmed her split from partner Bryce Mohr.
In a recent video shared to TikTok, participated in a trend to reflect on her breakup.
“Put a finger down if you were on a reality TV show 10 years ago that led to the worst break up of your adult life, so bad that you almost didn’t survive it,” she said in the video.
“And then it took you several years to be able to watch and enjoy said show again because everytime that you watched it, each year that it rolled around, you felt worse and worse and worse because it reminded you of the breakup that nearly killed you.”
Erin and Bryce were matched in 2016. As participants of the second season of MAFS, they were the show’s biggest success story, followed by season six’s Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant, and Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli.
However, her breakup video confirms the pair have been split for many years.
Erin and Bryce made a decision to keep their relationship private, with Erin tellng The D&M podcast that, “I’m sure it infuriates a lot of people that they’re not kept in the loop.”
As a result, the status of their relationship has been unclear since 2020, when they announced they’d become home owners.
