In honour of the upcoming event, we’re looking back at Nick and Megan’s love story; from how they met to how they keep the spark alive 25 years into their relationship.
How did Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally meet?
Nick and Megan first crossed paths in 2000, when they both starred in The Berlin Circle, a satirical play by Charles Mee.
In 2010, Megan shared exactly how her and Nick’s relationship – or ‘showmance’ as theatre people would say – started.
“We were getting to know each other and flirting. Shortly before opening night, we went out to dinner and he held my hand, and I had butterflies, and I thought, ‘Oh!’ A couple of nights later, we kissed. After the previews, we made out,” the Will & Grace star told New York Magazine.

“Opening night, somebody saw us making out and then the cat was out of the bag. And then we were dating.”
How old was Megan Mullally when she met Nick Offerman?
Megan was born on November 12, 1958 and is currently 66-years-old. Nick was born on June 26, 1970 and is currently 54-years-old.
This means there’s a 12-year age gap between them.
As for when they met, Megan was 41 and Nick was 29.

Are Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally still together?
Yes!
In 2002, after two years of dating, Nick proposed to Megan.
A year later, in September 2003, the couple tied the knot in an extremely intimate ceremony.
“We got married in our backyard in LA with twenty people,” Megan happily recalled to New York Magazine.

And over the past quarter century, the couple’s love has only grown stronger.
“We just really like each other, which I highly recommend if you’re going to make a promise to someone to spend the rest of your life with them. And we take that promise really seriously,” Nick told The Guardian in May 2025.
“We make our relationship a priority. And it’s always a growing, evolving organism,” he continued before joking:
“Also, Megan has not let me have sex with her yet, and so that really keeps me in the game.”
