The cast for Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 has officially been announced!

Of course, Nicole Kidman is set to return and reprise her role. The Australian Oscar-winner played Masha Dmitrichenko, the Russian founder of wellness resort Tranquillum House, in Season 1.

Joining her in the second season is Henry Golding, of Crazy Rich Asians and A Simple Favour fame, Mark Strong, of Kingsmen: The Secret Service and Cruella fame, and Lena Olin, of Enemies, A Love Story and Alias fame.

At this stage, it’s not clear what the plot of Nine Perfect Strangers’ second season will be.

The first season was based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty – yes, the author behind the three books that inspired three other tv show adaptations: Big Little Lies, The Last Anniversary and Apples Never Fall.

But as the Nine Perfect Strangers book doesn’t have a sequel, and all the events that transpired in the book transpired in Season 1, we’ll have to wait and see what Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 has in store for viewers…
