When Harry Met Sally director and famed actor, Rob Reiner was found dead in his home alongside wife, Michele Singer Reiner.
The pair were allegedly discovered in their Brentwood home by their daughter.

Officers responded to a call at Rob’s home at 3:40pm local time. Law enforcement sources have since informed The Times that Rob’s injuries were consistent with stab wounds.
Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnnell has confirmed Rob’s son, Nick Reiner was taken into custody following extensive work by detectives from the Robbery-Homicide Division.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the Reiners,” Jim said during the news conference. “A tragic incident.”
The authorities have issued a search warrant for the Reiner home, with Jim noting it is a “critical piece of our investigation.”

Nick is being held on $4 million bail.
Family friends told The Times that Rob and his son got into an argument the night prior at the home of American television host and comedian Conan O’Brien.
These sources have also alleged that Nick was living in a guesthouse on his parents’ property. Furthermore, his mother was allegedly concerned about her son’s mental health, as reported by The Times.
Previously, Nick, 32, has openly shared his battles with addiction. He got clean in 2015, and worked with his father on Being Charlie, a semi-autobiographical film about addiction and recovery.

Speaking of the film at its premiere, Rob said: “It was very, very hard going through it the first time, with these painful and difficult highs and lows. And then making the movie dredged it all up again.”
In a 2016 interview on the Dopey podcast, Nick revealed he turned to drugs to cope with his family’s fame.
“I befriended so many people that I never think I’d ever have a conversation with in rehab. And for all the negative that I think it did to me, it also exposed me to a larger demographic of people,” he said at the time.
