Ten's all around!

While Terrace and Shed Week on The Block may seem boring compared to some of the other room reveals, the completed rooms have completely changed the competition.

Robby and Mat over at House 5 finally presented their game-changing wine cellar!

“They now don’t have the same houses. They’re in a competition, and they have now taken themselves out of the competition and put themselves into a totally new bracket,” judge and real estate expert Marty Fox said of the boys.

With Week 10 done and dusted, here are all the room reveals for Terrace and Shed Week on The Block.

Emma & Ben

No other house thought of installing a golf simulator in their shed, and while it was certainly a stand out, but the judges didn’t love their presented space.

Shaynna commented the spaces weren’t “inviting” given it felt very masculine and “blokey” due to dark walls and the beer fridge.

However, Marty did admire the view thanks to the height of their home.

Emma and Ben scored 26 points.

Han & Can

It was the week from hell for Han and Can who had to most of the heavy work themselves given they had no money, which also meant not everything was completed.

House 2 lacked functionality according to the judges, who noted the lack of outdoor blinds, no heating and the Japanese garden which only minimised seating area.

Moving over to the art space, Darren couldn’t understand why they put so much effort and money into “beautifying a shed.” The space featured expensive skylights and tile slabs that just weren’t necessary.

“I’m pretty keen to get out of here,” Marty said.

Han and Can scored 21 points, but they did win $20,000 from CommBank.

Britt & Taz

Britt and Taz really took a gamble this week on The Block, hoping to beat Robby and Mat but were unsuccessful.

While the bar is impressive, the judges are wondering how a speakeasy is compliant given the space can’t encourage people to stay longer than 40 minutes. Marty was indifferent to the bar, stating he wouldn’t care if it was all torn down due to noncompliance. All judges agreed the Pilates studio should have been relocated into the shed as previously suggested.

“From a real estate perspective, they have a fundamental flaw within their floor plan which can deem it unsellable,” Marty said.

They all loved the Teppanyaki styled kitchen in the Alfresco, yet noted the lack of lounge space.

House 3 scored 27 points.

Sonny & Alicia

Sonny and Alicia were so close to winning their first room! The judges loved how the couple understood the importance of relaxing, noting the “inviting” lounge facing the backyard.

House 4 also proved a U-shaped outdoor kitchen isn’t always needed. As for the shed, the judges loved that it was simply just a functional and versatile shed.

Sonny and Alicia scored 29 points, receiving ten points from Darren Palmer.
