Find out who won!

Just when we thought The Block couldn’t get anymore challenging, Week 9 demanded contestants complete five rooms in one week.

But at least all the rooms were completed – unlike last week’s Guest Suite room reveal.

For the Back of House task, teams were required to complete the pantry, laundry, powder room, mudroom and garage.

Below are all the Back of House room reveals presented on The Block 2025.

Emma & Ben

House 1 presented a beautiful space, noting the chestnut wood, the elevated laundry machine which was “genius” and the area to hang clothing.

However, it lacked functionality according to the judges. Shaynna discovered they had jars for coffee and tea, but the fridge was in kitchen. There also was not enough bench space for appliances, preparing dishes and doing laundry.

Emma and Ben scored 22 points and spent $35,167.

Han & Can

Han refused to sacrifice her dream garage, and luckily it was a huge success for the judges. Darren noted it would be a great selling point for car lovers.

The judges loved the changed layout, the door which connects the laundry to the backyard, and the colour palette.

House 2 scored 27.5 points, just missing out on this week’s win, and spent $40,455.

Britt & Taz

Coming in first place for the $10,000 win was Britt and Taz. There wasn’t a lot the judges could fault!

Out of all the houses, House 3 nailed their storage, layout, and colour palette. Plus with such heavy duty laundry appliances, Shaynna felt the layout didn’t need a door to the outside.

House 3 scored 28 points and spent $37,930.

Sonny & Alicia

Sonny and Alicia received some positive feedback this week, but just lacked the ‘wow’ factor as they came third.

The mudroom was a real highlight, even Darren’ts jaw was on the floor looking at their toilet space. The garage was also a big tick! However, the layout wasn’t correct with the laundry and pantry – similarly to House 1.

House 4 scored 26.5 points and spent $38,215.

Robby & Mat

Robby and Mat extended their pantry this week, but this unfortunately meant downsizing the laundry space. House 5 underestimated how much space is needed for a laundry, and it was certainly too small for a luxury home.

Darren also questioned the tile in their mudroom. Robby and Mat scored 25.5 points and spent $34,232.
