It has been a chaotic week on The Block 2025 with a public holiday shutting down the job site, the Hepburn Spa Challenge reveal, and finally the Rumpus room reveal.
Below, The Australian Women’s Weekly lists all the room reveals from week 6, including budgets and scores.
Emma & Ben
Emma made a last minute decision to paint the ceiling green, a bold move hoping to take them from “bridesmaids” to winners. While they missed out on the win – placing second once again – Emma and Ben were praised for the room.
The judges would have loved to see this creativity in the Living and Dining area. But their now concerned the second space may upstage the main living area, scaring away potential buyers.
Emma and Ben won the CommBank $10,000, spent $8,700 and scored 28 points.
Han & Can
Just when Han and Can thought nothing else could go wrong, just about everything else went wrong. The TV they initially wanted didn’t find, the original cabinet they ordered was 4 millimetres too long, and the velvet wall was incorrectly sized.
But, it all worked out in the end as Han and Can actually won this week’s room and they scored 10 points, meaning they took home $20,000.
House 2 spent $11,570 and scored 29.25 points.
Britt & Taz
After a killer week Living and Dining room, the judges were disappointed by Britt and Taz’s Rumpus room. Real estate tycoon, Marty Fox highlighted that not having a second living space will severely hinder the homes price come auction day given all the other houses have two living spaces.
Darren suggested the Pilates space be moved into the shed, and the Rumpus be turned into a living space. To Taz’s heartbreak, Shaynna hated the fridge being in the room.
Britt and Tax scored 20.5 points and spent $10,872.
Sonny & Alicia
Coming in third place was Sonny and Alicia! Darren was absolutely obsessed with the colour drenching, meanwhile Marty was indifferent.
“[The room is] so on trend, that I think it will be out of trend as quickly as its come in. It’s all the same colour!” a shocked Marty said.
Sonny and Alicia spent $10,846 and scored 27.5 points.
Robby & Mat
Robby and Mat’s glorious winning streak came to a fiery end in week 6, and the judges didn’t hold back.
The boys entered the week with a strategy to win the CommBank $10,000 – which they lost. In their efforts to win the budget prize, they held back on styling and also didn’t complete the room as there were enough floorboards.
“In the week when things don’t go your way, at least you weren’t going to win the room,” Darren said. Yikes.
Robby and Mat scored 18 points and spent $9,986.
