The kitchen area is arguably one of our favourite room reveals on The Block every year, and the 2025 reveal didn’t disappoint.
This year, we watched the kitchen areas marry up to the living and dining room spaces that were completed a few weeks prior.

Emma & Ben

Soon-to-be parents were on a mission to win everything possible this week, plus they completely redid their living and dining room – a move that “saved” the house according to Shaynna.
The judges adored the colour palette, noting that it felt very Daylesford with a “modern twist.” The only concern was the location of the fridge, which cut off the entrance to the main suite.
House 1 spent $12,223 and scored 26 points.
Han & Can

After almost being reduced to tears, believing they wouldn’t finish the room, Han and Can successfully delivered. While Darren and Marty loved the space, Shaynna was disliking it the more time she spent in the kitchen and called it “vanilla.”
House 2 spent $20,845 and scored 26.5 points.
Britt & Taz

After winning $175,000 worth of kitchen appliances, Britt and Taz admitted it would be embarrasing if they didn’t win but luckily they did! They tied with House 5, winning $10,000.
The judges were blown away with the appliances, layout, and the huge kitchen island.
House 3 spent $17,968 and scored 28.5 points.
Sonny & Alicia

Technically, Sonny and Alicia completed two rooms this week after completely redoing their living and dining space that was mashed by the judges.
They took a huge risk with blue cabinetry, but the judges absolutely adored it. Unfortunately, Marty said the space was lacking that humph factor – Darren agreed it lacked drama.
“It doesn’t feel luxurious, it doesn’t feel expensive,” Marty said.
For their brilliant budgeting skills, Sonny and Alicia took home $10,000. They spent $12,103 and scored 27 points.
Robby & Mat

The judges absolutely adored the boys room, noting the cosy feeling, layout and its colours. However, there was a little slip up… Mat forgot to put away a plastic container of tzatziki!
They also addressed the hidden door to the main suite, unfortunately, the judges didn’t love it. Darren pointed out the gap between the cupboards which means there is no privacy or noise reduction, and noticed the decorations weren’t glued down.
Robby and Mat won the room, tied with House 3. They won $10,000, spent $19,413 and was scored 28.5 points.
