Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden arrived at The Golden Bachelor mansion in style, dressed in a classic tuxedo.
Bear, 61, is leading the helm for the very first Australian iteration of The Golden Bachelor. He is joined by ladies all aged over 50.

The premiere episode dropped on Monday October 20, and now the ladies are settling into their new home. However, some ladies’ visit to the lavish home will be shorter than others as eliminations continue.

Where is The Golden Bachelor 2025 filmed?
The Bachelor filming location is the grand Tresco mansion located in Elizabeth Bay, Sydney Harbour. With perfect water views, the home is hard to miss given it is the only home visible amongst built-up apartments.

The 1860s sandstone villa features a spacious multi-tiered backyard, private gazebo, and pool. The 3300sqm home has 13 rooms, eight bedrooms, two studies and a maid’s quarters.
Channel Nine didn’t stray too far away from Bear’s home considering the Bachelor lives in Manly, Sydney.
How much is The Golden Bachelor mansion worth?
According to realestate.com.au, the property hit the market in 2024 with hopes it would sell in the $110 million and $120 million range.
The publication further claimed the government sold the home for $9 million in 1997. Then, it was resold in 2004 for $11 million.
