Who didn’t receive a rose on The Golden Bachelor?

Janette was the runner-up in the race for Bear’s heart. Unfortunately, she did not receive a rose during the final ceremony in South Africa.

“Janette, you deserve a lover worth fighting for. But I’m so sorry, it’s not with me. I know this hurts. You’re someone I really care for and I rally respect. I know there’s somebody out there for you,” Bear said, breaking Janette’s heart.

In a heartbreaking episode, Kim was eliminated in the race for Bear’s heart. She was among the final three.

After she didn’t receive a rose, the 60-year-old devastatingly confessed: “I really wanted to have my name called out.”

“I really wanted this to go further and I just feel really sad. I’m ready to fall in love. I’m really ready to start my life with the love of my life and he doesn’t want to do that with me and that’s okay. I’ll go away and lick my wounds for a while, but I will be happy and hopefully I’ll find what I’m looking for.

“It was a good try.”

This might just be one of the most shocking eliminations of the season. Jan, 66, was chosen to attend a romantic ballet performance at the Sydney Opera House with Bear.

They spent the night bonding, cuddling and talking about their previous relationships. Jan revealed she was “badly burned” by her ex, who she earlier revealed had cheated on her for three years. Unfortunately, Bear had a stronger connection with the other women.

“This is so hard, I so absolutely loved the ballet and jumping into everything feet first,” Bear told Jan during her elimination.

“I wanted a rose tonight, I wanted to continue the journey. But I am really proud that I put myself in a position where I was vulnerable” Jan later said.

Gera made it to the final five before being eliminated. In an exit interview with 9Entertainment, Gera felt she didn’t open up as quickly as the other women.

“I am still at stage one where I’m just thinking I want to open up to his man who I know is not going to judge me and is this soft, caring man, but I can’t force myself to put my whole heart on the line,” she said.

Despite her best attempts, Lauren was sadly sent home mid-competition.

Catherine was also sent home mid-Bachelor season.

Shamse was one of the ladies who left during a mass elimination.

Elizete loved calling Bear her ‘boyfriend’! She made a huge impression on viewers in the first episode, greeting Bear in a bedazzled outfit with wings. But unfortunately, she is no longer in the race for Barry’s heart.

Pip was among the ladies who was eliminated amid a mass-cut.

It’s safe to say, our jaws were on the floor when Terri told Golden Bachelor Bear that she would be leaving the mansion. Yep, you read that right!

Bear began calling out names, but when Terri walked to the front, she simply said, “I’m not going to accept your rose.”

Explaining her rejection, Terri said: “I’m really grateful for my time with Bear, and every moment I spoke to him, every look that I had with him, I definitely had feelings for him. But I know he has really deep connections with a couple of other ladies and I’m just not there.”

Laura didn’t have a lot of screen-time with Bear! Unfortunately she was eliminated mid-way through the season.

Katrina was a hilarious ball of energy on The Golden Bachelor. After finally wrangling some alone time with Bear, Katina felt didn’t go very well because of her nervous. But she did stay an extra day!

Alas, Bear just wasn’t feeling a connection…

Unfortunately, Hamidah didn’t make a connection with Bear and she was the sixth person to be eliminated from the mansion.

While Nicolette was chosen to go on the first group date, she was eliminated in the second round.

For the group date, the ladies were tasked with recreating some of Bear’s favourite romantic films for a photoshoot. Among the films were Muriel’s Wedding, Grease, and Dirty Dancing where Nicolette dressed up as Penny. Unfortunately, Catherine was dressed up as Baby and undoubtedly stole Bear’s full attention.

Linda was also eliminated in the second round. She unfortunately didn’t have a lot of time to speak with the Bachelor.

Jane, 60, was among the first ladies to be eliminated from The Golden Bachelor.

Shana, 60, made quite the impression, giving Bear quite the hug! Unfortunately, her Golden Bachelor journey came to an end in the first episode.

Sadly, Angela, 52, was one of the three women sent home in the premiere episode.
