2026 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony
For her first appearance as Queen at the Commonwealth Games, Queen Camilla donned a fabulous flared jumpsuit – in her favourite royal blue colour, of course. The Queen and King Charles stole the spotlight of the opening ceremony of the 2026 Commonwealth Games when they entered the OVO Hydro arena in Glasgow, Scotland, by stepping out of the iconic Dr Who Tardis.
Camilla previously wore the custom Anna Valentine jumpsuit in 2023 for the inaugural Queen’s Reading Room Literary Festival at Hampton Court Palace.
Women’s Weekly fashion director Mattie Cronan said: “It’s great to see Queen Camilla stepping out in a bold statement jumpsuit she has previously worn before, the elegant yet relaxed fit and bold striking colour is a modern direction and goes to show a great piece can be worn on multiple occasions.”

To celebrate Her Majesty’s 79th birthday, the palace released an official portrait of the Queen in a royal blue dress and butterfly brooch. It appears to be the same dress by Fiona Clare (one of Her Majesty’s favourites) which she wore to the Royal Ascot in 2024.
Camilla loves a royal blue look, and wore a similar dress just days later:
Queen Camilla wore another Fiona Clare design to attend the 250th birthday celebrations of the Hall and Woodhouse Badger Brewery. It took place in the middle of a heatwave in the UK, so Her Majesty cooled down with a unique fan featuring the King’s Guard.
The King and Queen attended the 200th anniversary of the Zoological Society of London at the London Zoo. Queen Camilla chose a very apt dress for the occasion. Another Fiona Clare design, the bespoke dress features Liberty London’s “Jungle Crumble” print fabric. Royal fans might notice that she wore the dress to Wimbledon in 2025.
Clearly, Her Majesty loves to wear green around Easter time. Queen Camilla donned the same outfit (swapping out only the shoes) while attending Easter Sunday Mattins’ Service on March 31, 2024 as she wore to the Royal Maundy Service at Durham Cathedral on April 17, 2025.
The stunning deep emerald Anna Valentine coat dress is a perfect choice for the at times bracing spring weather in the UK. She accessorised the outfit both times with a statement Philip Tracey hat. However, when she wore the outfit originally, she wore an emerald and sapphire flower brooch once worn by Queen Mary, who bequeathed it to her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II.
This time, she chose the heart of the Celtic Knot brooch, once gifted to Queen Mary ahead of her wedding to the future King George V.
We love a sustainable Queen in green!
On April 9, 2025, King Charles and Queen Camilla celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
Sadly, the couple couldn’t celebrate too much as they were in Italy for an official State visit.
However, in a sweet nod to their anniversary, when Charles and Camilla arrived at the Italian Parliament in Rome, she was wearing the same Anna Valentine ensemble she wore for her and Charles’ Guildhall civil ceremony in 2005.
Some elements of the gown had been slightly changed (namely the trim on the neckline and hemline) and featured some new embroidery details by the King’s Foundation artisan Beth Somerville, but it still looked fabulous!
When Queen Camilla arrived in Australia on October 18, 2024, she looked wonderful as she disembarked from her and King Charles’ jet in a cobalt blue Fiona Clare dress.
Her Majesty was also fittingly wearing the Australian Wattle Brooch – which was originally gifted to the late Queen Elizabeth II by the people of Australia during her visit in 1954.
For the Braemar Gathering, Queen Camilla opted for a more daring look – but we love it!
Her navy dress featured a feather pattern and it was perfectly complemented by her feathered hat.
In August 2024, Queen Camilla opened the Bustardthorpe Development at York Racecourse wearing a lovely baby blue coat dress and coordinating hat.
During day ten of Wimbledon 2024, Queen Camilla looked wonderful in this cream Anna Valentine dress, which features a giraffe print on the hem.
Who doesn’t love a fluffy hat? Queen Camilla paired her statement hat with a matching baby blue skirt suit for day four of Royal Ascot 2024.
She also wore the late Queen Elizabeth’s Jardine Star brooch.
In May 2024, Her Majesty appeared at the opening session of the Charleston Festival.
And she stunned in a green dress that featured a peacock-inspired pattern, which she paired with an emerald scarf elegantly draped around her neck and shoulders.
Camilla looks undeniably good in blue. For the 2024 Commonwealth Day Service, the Queen wore a sky blue Bruce Oldfield coat and a coordinating hat by Philip Treacy.
In honour of International Women’s Day, on March 12, 2024, Queen Camilla was presented with a bespoke Barbie doll.
Both Camilla and the Barbie doll wore a royal blue dress and black cape – we’re not sure if the Barbie’s cape was designed by Amanda Wakeley, but Camilla’s was.
In February 2024, Queen Camilla held a reception for those involved with the Miniature Library added to Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.
For the occasion, she wore a navy skirt and matching navy jacket, which featured stunning white embroidery.
For her and King Charles’ coronation in 2023, Camilla looked incredibly regal in a white, embroidered dress designed by Bruce Oldfield and silk shoes from Elliot Zed.
