The upcoming series will chronicle the whirlwind courtship and marriage of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

Sarah Pidgeon has been cast as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.
She has previously starred in the series The Wilds and Tiny Beautiful Things.
In 2024, Sarah nabbed a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the play Stereophonic.
Who will play John F. Kennedy Jr.?
Newcomer Paul Kelly will play John F. Kennedy Jr. (JFK Jr.).
Paul has never acted in anything of note but has previously worked as a model for various brands like Rhone and Bonobos.

Beloved actress Naomi Watts is set to take on Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Kennedy.
Naomi really needs no introduction but the Oscar-nominee has previously starred in Mulholland Drive, 21 Grams, King Kong, and most recently, Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
She’s also a passionate advocate for menopause awareness.
Where and when can I watch American Love Story in Australia?

What happened to the real JFK Jr and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy?
JFK Jr. met Carolyn Bessette in the early 1990s while she was working as a publicist for Calvin Klein.
They began dating in 1994 and quickly became one of the most high-profile couples in America.
JFK Jr. and Carolyn married in a secret, intimate ceremony held on September 21, 1996, on Cumberland Island, Georgia.
But tragically, on July 16, 1999, the couple died in a plane crash.
JFK Jr. was piloting a small aircraft en route to Martha’s Vineyard when it went down in the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Cod.
Also on board was Carolyn’s sister, Lauren Bessette, and she too died in the accident.
