Set in the idyllic Scottish country-side, the Outlanderverse returns in 2026. While no one will replace Jamie and Claire Fraser’s place in our hearts, author Diana Gabaldon has beautifully written two new love stories to sink our teeth into: Ellen and Brian, and Henry and Julia.

What is the plot of Outlander: Blood of my Blood season two?
In the dramatic season one cliffhanger, Henry and Julia Beauchamp finally reunited at Craigh na Dun after being transported back in time and separated in 18th-century Scotland.
Eager to return to their own time, the pair finally touch the standing stones. But this wouldn’t be Outlander without some heartbreak, because the season two trailer soon shows a distraught Julia, standing alone with their baby.
Stan, the streaming giant housing the drama in Australia, has teased Henry will struggle with his mental health as searches for a way back to her.
Meanwhile, Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie’s forbidden romance edges closer to war, threatened by the outbreak of the 1715 Jacobite Rising. If this title sounds familiar, the Jacobite Rebellion served as the storyline backbone of Outlander.
With Scotland preparing to go to war, Brian and Ellen must choose between love and clan loyalty.

Who is the cast of Outlander: Blood of my Blood?
Portraying English soldier Henry Beauchamp is Jeremy Irvine, best recognised for his roles in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and War Horse. Initially, Jeremy had reservations about joining the series until his wife, a huge fan of romance novels, encouraged him.
“The fantasy time travel world is not something that I’ve ever done before. But what I’ve learned is to not just go for things that are aimed at me,” he told Luxury London.
Henry’s love interest, Julia Beauchamp is portrayed by British actress Hermione Corfield. Some of her bigger roles include Fear Below, The Misfits, and Rust Creek, but she did have minor roles in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Bringing the forbidden love story to life includes Jamie Roy as Brian Fraser and Harriet Slater as Ellen MacKenzie. Jamie is a proud Scottish actor with compelling work in Picture Perfect Lies, Your Boyfriend Is Mine, and Burning Lies. Meanwhile, English actor Harriet has starred in Tarot, Fall 2: Deadpoint, and Belgravia: The Next Chapter.
Also in the cast include Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Seamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Tony Curran as Lord Lovat, Rory Alexander Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan, and Sara Vickers as Davina Porter.
