What are the best things to do and see at the 2026 Royal Easter Show?

One of the highlights of the show is a visit to the Farmyard Nursery.

It’s particularly popular for families with young kids, as the kids can pat the animals and learn all about the piglets, lambs, ducklings, goats and chickens that are wandering around the open paddock space.

Jamison Station, which acts as a working station throughout the show, is another must visit. During the day, the kids can learn about farming and see the animals up close and after dark you can enjoy the animal sculptures that illuminate the space once the sun goes down.

You’ll, of course, want to take in a ride or two as well and the Royal Easter Show has all the classics including the ferris wheel, dodgem cars and carousels.

All your favourite show snacks will be available to enjoy throughout the day and night including fairy floss, chip-on-a-stick and dagwood dogs. Plus, there’s a range of Asian street food faves at YumYum Noodle Market and big servings of BBQ at Honky Tonk.

And a trip to the show wouldn’t be complete without taking home a showbag or… 10.
