A new season of Travel Guides is here, but there are a bunch of new cast members joining the 2026 season venturing around the globe including Chile, Indonesia, Brazil and more.
If you’re an avid reality TV viewer, it is possible these new Guides look familiar. Three of the five new groups come from Married At First Sight Australia, The Block and Love Island.
But given this major shake-up, The Weekly is detailing all the new and returning cast members of Travel Guides 2026 below.
Lucinda Light and Andrea Thompson
They first brought their infectious energy to Married At First Sight Australia in 2024. While their on-screen relationships ended catastrophically, they found friendship in one another.
However, the pair only starred in Travel Guides for one exciting episode, jet-setting off to Dublin, Ireland.
Travel Guides is a very different venture for Lucinda Ligt, who not only appeared on MAFS but also Celebs Go Dating. However, she told our deputy editor Tiffany Dunk that she’s “done my quota of dating shows ” on an episode of The Australian Women’s Weekly Love Stories podcast.
“I really took myself off the shelf for a couple of years post-MAFS. I mean, my life sort of exploded, and it’s been like holding on for dear life, trying to organise everything and be creative and give offerings. But [Celebs Go Dating] got me in the momentum of dating again.”
Now she’s ready for the next chapter. Listen to the podcast here or watch the full episode on YouTube.

Eliza and Liberty
These sisters are familiar with throwing themselves into completely new territory, given they joined The Block with no renovation experience.
Eliza and Liberty competed in the 2023 season, going on to start their own podcast, Try Before You Die and appearing on the series, Do You Want To Live Forever?
“Cooked Tunas meet Travel Guides!! Huge honour to do a couple of eps with the magnificent OG cast. Our shenanigans will be on your screens in 2026,” they shared on Instagram.
Callum and Mitch
Trading daily swimsuits for an unknown adventure is Love Island’s Callum Hole and Mitch Hibberd.
The cheeky and boisterous duo met on Love Island in 2022. Prior to reality TV, Mitch was a professional AFL player. But you may remember Callum from his hilarious antics on I’m A Celebrity in 2024.
“Excited to explore the world, cause a bit of chaos, and probably butcher a few foreign phrases along the way. Strap in this will be naughty,” Callum wrote on Instagram.
Brooke and Adam
Country music passion is joining Travel Guides with married couple Brooke and Adam. As musicians, the pair have toured far and wide but the most they experience is backstage areas, highways and motels.
Their efforts aren’t for nought though, because they’ve won multiple Golden Guitar awards, and their album Up, Down & Sideways hit number one on the ARIA charts. Brooke is also one third of The McClymonts, where she performs with her sisters Sam and Mollie.
While they have “never really” enjoyed a holiday before, they are “pretty chuffed” to be joining Travel Guides, according to nine.com.au.
Kevin and Janetta
Original Guides Kevin and Janetta, who proclaim themselves to be “holiday snobs,” are returning for the ninth season.
After travelling together for more than 40 years, Kevin and Janetta know exactly what they want, and share a taste for the finer things in life.
If there is an adventure with guaranteed five star accommodation, ships, and luxuries, you know Kevin and Janetta are there!
Matt and Brett
This fun-loving couple, also from Newcastle, joined the show in 2020 and have brought a fair share of laughs since.
Matt and Brett have been together for 22 years, tying the knot in New Zealand. The social pair can strike up a conversation with anyone, and they never fight – because Matt’s always right.
The pair adore coffee, shopping, kayaking, karaoke, cruises, bushwalks and a good meal.
The Fren Family
This family unit includes dad Mark, mum Cathy, and siblings Victoria and Jono. Born and bred in Newcastle, the Fran Family is known for their loud personalities.
As long as the vacay has food – particularly buffets, the Fran Family will have a smile on their face.
Kevin, Dorian and Teng
Best mates, formally dubbed ‘The Target boys’, have kept viewers laughing since season two. Thankfully, their antics return in 2026.
They are all first generation Aussies, and proud: Kev has Chinese heritage, Dorian is Greek, and Teng is Vietnamese.
Karly and Bri
Karly and Bri were the newbies for quite some time on Travel Guides, having joined in 2024. But not anymore!
The girls crossed paths while filming Beauty and the Geek, and have been inseparable ever since. Travel Guides has certainly opened their horizons, having only traveled to Bali prior to joining the show.
Tash and Meryl
Grab your passports! Another new pairing, set to experience TV for the first time are best friends Tash and Meryl.
Nicky and Connie
Before the 2026 season aired on Nine, the network revealed Brisbane mums Nicky and Connie would be joining. However, the pair are nowhere to be seen. Nine has not commented on their disappearance, but they seemingly have been edited out of Travel Guides.
