In a fictional world, being stranded on a deserted island with two Hollywood icons like Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien sounds like a dream, but their thriller Send Help is what nightmares are made from.
Rachel’s talent knows no bounds as we’ve watched her play the romantic lead, a high school bully, and kidnapped by a stranger on an airplane. But her role in Send Help is like nothing we’ve seen yet.
Even if horror isn’t your jam (or you don’t care about its 94 per cent rating from Rotten Tomatoes), the adorable friendship Rachel and Dylan share is enough to convince you to watch the film.
When approached to work alongside Rachel, Dylan just couldn’t resist working so closely with The Notebook actress. “I was like, ‘Wait a sec, I get to have her all to myself for three months. I’ll take it,” he said on the Chicks In The Office podcast.
The admiration clearly went both ways, almost sending Dylan into a “panic attack” when she gushed over his talents.
“I was real excited about Dylan. I have been watching you for a while now – stalking you.. I think he’s a phenomenal actor,” she said.

There were a few international filming locations for the 2026 horror film.
But some Maze Runner fans will remember when Dylan O’Brien was snapped in Sydney, Australia. Well, he was actually Down Under to film Send Help! The movie mostly utilised Disney Studios in Moore Park to film.
Other filming locations include Thailand and Los Angeles, California.
