Nothing quite screams glamour and luxury within the entertainment industry like the annual Venice International Film Festival.
Basking in the beautiful Italian sun, the International Film Festival held in none other than the countries Floating City, Venice. The 82nd Venice Film Festival commenced on August 27 2025, and will end on September 6.
Heading to their respective premieres are a number of A-list actors, producers, writers and emerging stars. Cate Blanchett stole the show early in a plunging black gown as she walked the La Grazia red carpet, meanwhile supermodel Heidi Klum walked the red carpet with her daughter, Leni in a similar gown.
But this is only the beginning! With so many days ahead of us, we’re expecting fabulous gowns, jewels and more iconic staircase moments.

Dazzling in a Tamara Ralph Fall 2025 Couture gown was British actress Emily Blunt. She posed for many photos alongside Dwayne Johnson for the red carpet of their latest film The Smashing Machine.

Amanda Seyfried attended the red carpet of her latest project The Testament of Ann Lee which received an incredible 15-minute standing ovation.
Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett is busy at the 2025 film awards! Attending the Father Mother Sister Brother red carpet, Cate wore a striking piece pulled from the Maison Margiela’s Fall Couture 2025 collection.
Jacob Elordi
Australia’s own Jacob Elordi had an emotional night at the 82nd Venice Film Festival. The 28-year-old was moved to tears when he received a 13-minute long standing ovation for his latest movie, Frankenstein directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Georgina Rodriguez
Georgina Rodriguez showed off her massive 30-carat diamond ring in her first outing since the engagement announcement with soccer professional, Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s believed the ring is worth around $5 million – and she was proud to show it off at the 82nd Venice Film Festival!

An angel in white at the Frankenstein red carpet was model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, wearing Armani Privé.
Alicia Silverstone
Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone has made a few appearances at the Venice Film Festival. She first attended the Bugonia red carpet wearing an elegant white long sleeve dress designed by Prada.
Alicia then attended the Filming Italy Venice Award red carpet wearing this black strapless midi-dress.
Jude Law
Jude Law has come a long way since starring in the 2006 romantic comedy, The Holiday. The 52-year-old attended the red carpet for his latest project, The Wizard Of The Kremlin.
Alicia Vikander
Also in attendance for The Wizard Of The Kremlin was Swedish actress, Alicia Vikander who has also starred in Tomb Raider, The Danish Girl and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Heidi Klum
Mother-daughter duo are proving opposites really do attract at the La Grazia red carpet.
Supermodel Heidi Klum donned a blush gown, featuring sheer mesh panelling and exposed boning. While her model daughter Leni, 21, wore a black version of the floor length gown, accessorised with an emerald necklace.
Paris Jackson
Donned in leather for the Frankenstein red carpet was Paris Jackson, daughter of musician Michael Jackson.
Cate Blanchett
With each and every red carpet Cate Blanchett attends, our jaws get closer to the floor. The actress wore a black plunge dress from Armani Privé while attending the La Grazia red carpet at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
George & Amal Clooney
The lovebirds haven’t graced the Venice Film Festival red carpet yet, but they are always dressed to the nine’s. Amal shone in this beautiful butter yellow dress, walking hand-in-hand with her husband, George Clooney.
They were also spotted enjoying the Floating City sites via water taxi – a classic mode of transport for celebrities in Venice.
Claire Holt
From H20: Just Add Water to making a regular appearance at the Venice International Film Festival. Australian actress, Claire Holt attended the La Grazia red carpet wearing maroon floor length gown, lace bodice and styled with a diamond choker necklace.
Tild Swinton
British actress Tilda Swinton donned a simple, yet elegant gown while attending the Opening Ceremony and the Gold Lion For Lifetime Achievement at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
Julia Roberts
Julia Roberts hasn’t donned her gown yet, but she still stole our attention with a funky cardigan! The Notting Hill actress arrived into Venice for the festival on August 27.
Laura Dern
Greeting her countless fans boat-side was Laura Dern! She was spotted exiting Hotel Excelsior – one of several luxury hotels that celebrities frequent in Venice.
She styled a classic white blouse with a floral patterned blue skirt.
Barbara Palvin
It seems many celebrities attending the La Grazia red carpet are opting for black this film festival season. Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, married to Dylan Sprouse, wore a floor length black sheer gown embellished with a flirtatious lace bodice.
She was even spotted walking hand-in-hand with our Aussie Claire Holt.
Billy Crudup
Understanding the power of a simple suit is American actor Billy Crudup. While he was spotted without wife Naomi Watts, many are hoping the lovebirds will make a red carpet appearance together.
