Who is Sutton Foster?
Sutton is an American actress, singer, and dancer, best known for her illustrious career on Broadway. Born on March 18, 1975, in Statesboro, Georgia, and raised in Troy, Michigan, Sutton’s journey to stardom began when she was just a teenager. After an early start in theatre, she rose to fame after landing the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2002, earning her first Tony Award.

Sutton married actor Christian Borle on September 18, 2006, after meeting in college. The couple divorced in 2009 but have remained friends.
On September 19, 2013, Sutton announced her engagement to screenwriter Ted Griffin, and they married on October 25, 2014, with the couple adopting their daughter Emily in April 2017.
In October 2024, Sutton filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage, and in January 2025 rumours of a romance with former co-star Hugh Jackman were ignited after People Magazine released exclusive photos of the pair together in public.
