Dinner Parties are normally the fire-starters of feuds on Married At First Sight Australia, but the discontentment between brides Bec and Gia started during the premiere.
And, as Gia and Bec promised. the feud continued all season.
While speaking to 9Entertainment, Bec teased they’d clash “hard” this season, noting their ‘fundamental differences.’
“I tend to sit back a little bit and observe and try to think about what it is I’m going to say, whereas she’s just like in your face, ‘I’m going to say this’, and she doesn’t really care,” she told the publication.

Gia backed up Bec’s statement on Star’s Gina & Matty, adding they do have “rivalry the whole way” but some of it was embellished.
“We genuinely didn’t like each other, but we do try and make up a few times,” she said. “But we’re kind of pressured to keep that rivalry going. We knew that it was a big story on the show, so we played it up a little bit.
“We did like each other near the end, though, which you’ll see.”
Yet, Bec claims they are blocked on social media…
“We don’t have a relationship anymore at all, like we don’t. We’re blocked on everything,” Bec revealed while speaking on Star’s Gina & Matty.
Now that the MAFS 2026 Dinner Party reunion is mere days, we’re starting to understand why their relationship turned sour once again.
Bec’s final move
After bonding over their shared disputes with their own husbands, Bec and Gia were suddenly confidants. So, when Gia made a shock appearance at the final Dinner Party to confront Scott, Bec’s plan slid into place.
Just when Gia was about to flee, Bec enticed her to stay and say her peace at the dinner table.
“‘I love you. I’m sorry. I thought we had a family unit’,” Bec told Gia, who were off camera but still mic’d. “I’m looking at this strategically. It’s not just about your relationship, it’s about all of Australia. And if you can cry, that would be great.”
In previously unseen footage aired on MAFS: After The Dinner Party, Bec tells producers she only enticed Gia to stay so that she could watch her marriage to Scott implode.

“The only person who was gonna get her here was the friend she had. It was me,” Bec said. “She f****d me over, and now you look like a d**k, so see ya. I’m framing them and selling them.”
Bec continued: “It’s all been rainbows and lollipops the whole time and then you run away? No, no, no, you come back and show what your relationship really was.”
Gia, who was watching the unaired clip on the Stan show, began crying. “I genuinely thought she was my friend at that point,” she said.
Text Messages Leaked
Unfortunately, Alissa continues to get caught in the cross fire when it comes to Gia and Bec’s feud.
This time, Gia shared screenshots of her alleged conversation with Bec to Juliette – who after a disastorous walk out, forwarded the screenshots to Alissa. In these screenshots, the messages allegedly sent by Bec included several crude comments about Alissa.
“Rat b***h with her rat husband,” one message read. See all the messages here.

Speaking on Gina & Matty, Bec reflected on why there was such anymosity towards Alissa, noting there was “probably a level of jealousy there.”
“when you get to know Alissa, you realize that she’s animated and she’s very loud and out there,” Bec began. “With Alissa, the girls were probably like, ‘Hang on a second why are you so loud?’. It was probably a play for who wants to be top dog.”
Alissa’s Caught in the Middle
Alissa, alongwith Stella, was Brook, Gia and Bec’s target during the second MAFS Dinner Party. Despite all the apologies, Alissa was caught in the middle of Gia and Bec’s feud during the third Dinner Party episode.
Bec was on a solo mission to prove Gia was a liar, and clear her husbands name. When Gia read out text messages, allegedly from Bec talking about Alissa – who viewers were led to believe knew each other through mutual friends, and this was where their drama originally started. However, while speaking on Fifi, Fev & Nick, Bec revealed that they actually “didn’t know each other.”
“We hung out twice in social gatherings. I don’t understand! It’s not like Alissa and I were friends. I wouldn’t be able to walk in and say she was my friend. I don’t know where that’s come from,” she said.
First Dinner Party Chaos
Prior to the first Dinner Party, Gia talked about her disagreement with Bec to husband, Scott.
“There was a girl giving me ups and downs all night,” she said. “Maybe she’s jealous.”

Gia felt the unfriendliness would only heighten if Bec wasn’t getting along with her MAFS pairing. Later, Bec shared her concern that Gia was more her husband, Danny’s type.
“Her [Bec’s] man was definitely looking at me. So, that was interesting,” Gia said, with Bec later telling 9Entertainment that she “certainly didn’t notice my husband staring at Gia all night.”
Intimacy Obsessed
Gia was quick to pry into her castmates’ level of intimacy, which was a tough topic for Bec given Danny admitted that the sexual attraction wasn’t high.
“I’m really happy for her that she had really good sex… to see her with that massive smile on her face – minging,” Bec said after Gia was gushing about her relationship.

Bec and Danny’s intimate relationship has improved since this time, but it’s still a hot topic among the pair. During Revelations Week, the ladies played a game of Red Flag Green Flag.
Gia, standing among her fellow MAFS participants, said her intimacy with Scott was an absolute green flag, when Bec added, “I think it’s early days and the crutch will show, without a doubt.”
How did Bec and Gia’s MAFS feud start?
Bec and Gia’s feud began in the very first episode of MAFS, where the brides were all meeting each other at the Bachelorette.
Following Gia’s entrance, Bec turned to her fellow brides and said, “Trust me when I tell you, this one [is] going to be spicy.”
