Dinner Parties are normally the fire-starters of feuds on Married At First Sight Australia, but the discontentment between brides Bec and Gia started during the premiere.
And, Gia and Bec have promised the feud will continue all season.
While speaking to 9Entertainment, Bec teased they’ll clash “hard” this season, noting their ‘fundamental differences.’
“I tend to sit back a little bit and observe and try to think about what it is I’m going to say, whereas she’s just like in your face, ‘I’m going to say this’, and she doesn’t really care,” she told the publication.

Gia backed up Bec’s statement on Star’s Gina & Matty, adding they do have “rivalry the whole way” but some of it was embellished.
“We genuinely didn’t like each other, but we do try and make up a few times,” she said. “But we’re kind of pressured to keep that rivalry going. We knew that it was a big story on the show, so we played it up a little bit.
“We did like each other near the end, though, which you’ll see.”
Alissa’s Caught in the Middle
Alissa, alongwith Stella, was Brook, Gia and Bec’s target during the second MAFS Dinner Party. Despite all the apologies, Alissa was caught in the middle of Gia and Bec’s feud during the third Dinner Party episode.
Bec was on a solo mission to prove Gia was a liar, and clear her husbands name. When Gia read out text messages, allegedly from Bec talking about Alissa – who viewers were led to believe knew each other through mutual friends, and this was where their drama originally started. However, while speaking on Fifi, Fev & Nick, Bec revealed that they actually “didn’t know each other.”
“We hung out twice in social gatherings. I don’t understand! It’s not like Alissa and I were friends. I wouldn’t be able to walk in and say she was my friend. I don’t know where that’s come from,” she said.
First Dinner Party Chaos
Prior to the first Dinner Party, Gia talked about her disagreement with Bec to husband, Scott.
“There was a girl giving me ups and downs all night,” she said. “Maybe she’s jealous.”

Gia felt the unfriendliness would only heighten if Bec wasn’t getting along with her MAFS pairing. Later, Bec shared her concern that Gia was more her husband, Danny’s type.
“Her [Bec’s] man was definitely looking at me. So, that was interesting,” Gia said, with Bec later telling 9Entertainment that she “certainly didn’t notice my husband staring at Gia all night.”
Intimacy Obsessed
Gia was quick to pry into her castmates’ level of intimacy, which was a tough topic for Bec given Danny admitted that the sexual attraction wasn’t high.
“I’m really happy for her that she had really good sex… to see her with that massive smile on her face – minging,” Bec said after Gia was gushing about her relationship.

Bec and Danny’s intimate relationship has improved since this time, but it’s still a hot topic among the pair. During Revelations Week, the ladies played a game of Red Flag Green Flag.
Gia, standing among her fellow MAFS participants, said her intimacy with Scott was an absolute green flag, when Bec added, “I think it’s early days and the crutch will show, without a doubt.”
How did Bec and Gia’s MAFS feud start?
Bec and Gia’s feud began in the very first episode of MAFS, where the brides were all meeting each other at the Bachelorette.
Following Gia’s entrance, Bec turned to her fellow brides and said, “Trust me when I tell you, this one [is] going to be spicy.”
