Dinner Parties on Married At First Sight Australia are a weekly obligation for the participants, and it’s always the danger zone for any drama happening in the experiment.
But there must be something in the air during this 2026 MAFS experiment. We aren’t even halfway through the experiment and these parties have already taken the record for some of the most vicious episodes ever.
So, with so much happening on MAFS 2026, here is a recap of the most recent Dinner Party.
Third Dinner Party
Bec and Gia may have settled their feud, but the fire quickly returned when the latter accused Danny of admitting his attraction to her. Determined to clear her husband’s name, Bec seemed to be on a war path. But it wasn’t all directed at Gia.
In fact, she had a lot of things to say to just about every couple on the experiment.
The first to arrive at the party was actually Rachel and Steven, and after a little input from Bec about their so-called “boring” date night, she then told MAFS producers that Rachel “needs to write ‘leave’ and have some self-respect.”
She then called Mel and Luke’s relationship a “s***show,” before telling Filip he appeared “controlling” after suggesting his wife Stella stop drinking at Joel and Juliette’s wedding.

Even the experts noticed the not-so-subtle deflection going on…
Now, one of the biggest targets for Bec was intruder Joel, who “repulses” her. Some of Bec’s issues included the “zero effort” he showed with Juliet’s parents, not introducing himself to the MAFS participants, and some of the comments his mum made during speeches.
A very calm and somewhat disinterested Joel said, “You were watching very closely… Sorry if I left you out darling, I know you want attention.”
Bec responded, “I don’t need attention, I have attention.”
“Your knuckle dusters are more like feather dusters,” Joel added, later telling producers, “We don’t get along, but no one gets along with Bec.”
The night was almost over when Bec voiced her frustrations towards Gia. Now, this was one of the more confusing arguments, because somehow Grayson and Julia were brought into the debate. But the undertone of Bec’s statement was, “You don’t have any friends here anymore.”

“She’s got her husband and that’s all that matters. Why isn’t Danny next to you right now?” Scott responded.
Unfortunately, Alissa was pulled into the drama (again). Gia read out text messages allegedly sent by Bec, discussing Alissa.
“Alissa went home for the weekend – turmoil in the relationship,” Gia quoted. “Alissa’s in love with her ex,” Gia read, before claiming this message was sent by Bec the day prior.
Naturally, Alissa walked out of the dinner party.
Prior to this episode airing, Bec revealed to mafsfunny that she would “probably” need to share an apology. She also hoped “people will be able to see that I’m at the lowest of my lows at this point.”
