How to add an ASOS discount code
- Get a code: Pick any verified deal here and when you click on it you’ll get details of the code and/or offer. Plus a new window that takes you straight to the ASOS Australia website.
- Shop for what you want: Add your new pieces to the virtual shopping bag, and when you’re ready click through to start the checkout process.
- Log into your account: ASOS prompts you to login or sign up before you can complete your order (which only takes a few moments).
- Add the code: Scroll past your items, the click where it says ‘PROMO/STUDENT CODE OR VOUCHER’, enter your code in the field that appears, and click ‘APPLY CODE’ to update your order.

Editor’s note: What to know about the ASOS new customer discount code
ASOS has previously offered and promoted a discount code for new customers in Australia, with the code ‘NEW’ prominently displayed on the website. Unfortunately, this code is no longer available. The Australian Women’s Weekly Deals Team discovered this during our regular sourcing and testing of ASOS discount codes and deals.
Our Deals Researcher, Rhonn Palmaria, also got confirmation from the ASOS customer service team through the online chat. I’ve included a screenshot here for reference:

It’s worth noting that the promo code offer was still on the ASOS website after we discovered this – and multiple team members have tested it to confirm it has now expired. But you can still save with any of the other deals tested and picked by The Weekly.
Does ASOS do promo codes?
ASOS frequently has promo codes for discounts or other benefits like free shipping. When I was writing this article, I found one active discount code, two discount codes that had recently expired – plus the ongoing student discount code.
But it’s worth noting that because ASOS operates in different countries, some of the codes you find online may not work in Australia. I found a few that were specific to other countries during my research, and unfortunately they didn’t work for me on the Australian website. The ASOS terms and conditions also note each promo code has specific conditions, so it’s important to read and follow them to get the discount. The Weekly Deals Team does all of this before adding discount codes here, so you can always check our edit for current, verified codes and deals.
Does ASOS have a discount code for new customers?
Unfortunately, ASOS Australia doesn’t currently have a discount code for new customers. Earlier in 2026, you could get a 20% discount on your first order after signing up and opting into email marketing updates. But when I checked for this article, the code had expired. We’ll update this guide when a new deal is available, and you can still use any of the other ASOS discount codes and offers here in the meantime.
Can I stack ASOS discount codes?
ASOS typically only allows one discount code per order. In fact, the terms and conditions note that this includes free shipping codes. So if you had a discount code and a free shipping code, you’d need to choose which one to use for an order.
Easy ways to save and get more value at ASOS
- Free shipping: ASOS offers free standard shipping for orders over $120 in Australia, saving you $22.99 on the standard shipping fee that applies for orders less than that.
- ASOS Premier: This subscription offers free standard delivery with no minimum order and free express shipping on orders over $70, with a yearly cost of $50 to join. If you shop at ASOS a lot and often choose express delivery (or spend less than $120) it can work out cheaper to get this subscription than pay for shipping.
- Newsletter updates: Subscribe to the ASOS newsletter to get the latest codes and promotions in your inbox, including a birthday discount if you’re subscribed and have made a purchase with ASOS in the past 12 months.
- App promotions: ASOS often has app-only promotions and discount codes. For example, in April 2026, you could get 25% off as a new app customer by entering the discount code.
- Student discount: Students get 10% off at ASOS until graduation. You just need to register your student details with ASOS. Based on my research, you can get bigger discounts during student-specific promotions, too.
- Sales: ASOS has a sale section, plus subsections for different items, sizes, styles and more. I like to search by price, then filter by size so that I only see items that are the right fit for me and my budget. I’ve also found big discounts during major sales, including Black Friday and Afterpay Day. For example, last Black Friday I saw discounts of up to 54% on women’s fashion at ASOS offered up to 54% off. And a huge range of discounts for the recent Afterpay Day sale, too.
Shop the look with our edit of ASOS discount codes and deals
ASOS is one of those online stores that sometimes goes under the radar, but actually delivers the goods. The Australian Women’s Weekly team have spotted some great trends over the years, from styles worn and inspired by the royals (here’s a favourite from the archives) to on-trend loafers. It’s also one of The Weekly‘s top picks for best bras, shapewear for plus-size women and festive favourites including beauty advent calendars and Christmas pyjamas. But it’s also a great store for formal dresses, loungewear and everything in between, with brands including adidas, & Other Stories, Mango and Topshop alongside ASOS originals. I even have a Stradivarius blazer from there that’s one of my favourite trans-seasonal workwear pieces.
To help you get the fashion you want without breaking the bank, our experienced Deals Team have sourced an edit of ASOS discount codes and offers you can shop with now. With our network of partners, other trusted sources and tried and tested strategies, we first get relevant ASOS codes and deals, then personally test them on the ASOS Australia website. Once we’ve made sure they work, we add the most relevant and valuable ones here – and remove expired deals so you only see deals you can shop with right now.
“If you’re looking to capture that royal look, ASOS has a wide range of affordable options to give you just that. Whether you’re channelling Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton or Princess Diana – there was even a capsule collection for the People’s Princess once upon a time – ASOS has everything from coats to dresses to handbags.”

ASOS FAQs
If you’ve got questions about shopping with ASOS, you’re not alone. I’ve done a deep dive to bring you answers to some of the most common questions, sorted by topic.
How much is delivery?
ASOS offers free standard delivery for orders over $120 in Australia, and $22.99 for orders under this value. Express delivery is $40.
But for ASOS Premier members, standard delivery is free with no minimum spend, and express delivery is free for orders over $70.
What is the ASOS return policy?
ASOS offers 28 days from delivery for change of mind returns when they’re in their original condition. It’s easy to organise a return through your account, but there is an $8.99 return fee that’s deducted from the refund.
If there’s an issue with the items when you receive them, contact ASOS through your account so they can resolve it. You can also read the returns policy for full details, and read about your rights under Australian consumer law for more details.
What brands does ASOS sell?
ASOS has a lot of brands including Asics, adidas, Calvin Klein, & Other Stories, Mango, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Modibodi, PE Nation, Polo Ralph Lauren, The Frolic and Stradivarius. Beauty brands include The Ordinary, Bondi Sands, Bubble and NYX.
Why ASOS is my fashion iceberg
ASOS launched in Australian in 2011 and I remember the huge buzz around it at the time. With fast shipping options and a huge selection of brands both popular and hard to find elsewhere, plus originals, I can see the influence ASOS has had on Australia’s online shopping landscape over the past 15 or so years.
But if I’m being honest, I sometimes forget about just how good an online store it is – because a glance at the homepage is really just the tip of the iceberg with ASOS. Take the different size and style ranges for example – it has collections for curves, tall people, and a petite range that I find much more diverse than some others.
It also has an impressive collection of face and body products, with brands including The Ordinary, Bondi Sands, COSRX and e.l.f. The Australian Women’s Weekly even features products from ASOS in our guide to skincare for tweens. So if I’m ever a few bucks shy of free shipping, I know where to look for a few extra beauty goodies to add to cart.
