The series follows Charles, a retired professor and widower.
Understandably, Charles is a little lonely and somewhat stuck in a monotonous rut since his wife passed away.
But after his daughter encourages him to try something new, Charles responds to an intriguing ad in the newspaper.
And this is how he meets Julie, a private investigator trying to solve a theft that occurred in a retirement community.
Julie ultimately hires Charles to go undercover in the retirement community and act as her “man on the inside.” Hilarity ensues.

Emmy Award-winner Ted Danson, best known for Cheers, Becker and The Good Place, stars in the series as Charles.
Also in the cast are Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada and Stephanie Beatriz.
