This year’s season of Married at First Sight (MAFS) sure was dramatic!
And the reunion dinner party was no exception…
Here are the biggest revelations from the episode as well as everything else you need to know about it.
What happened at the 2025 MAFS reunion?
The Awhina, Adrian, and Sierah saga
After a confusing Final Vows, the reunion confirmed that Awhina and Adrian did indeed split up.
It also confirmed that Sierah had reached out to Adrian since she left the experiment, and allegedly texted some horrible things about the other participants.
And so, before the dinner party started Awhina confronted Sierah for messaging Adrian.
The two started bickering and when Sierah said she couldn’t understand why Awhina was having a go at her, Jamie ended up screaming:
“Because you were trying to f**k her husband.”
Sierah stormed off at this point but Awhina and Adrian followed her.
And it led to Sierah telling Adrian that Awhina once said that she thinks “he’s stupid, he can’t spell, his business is a joke, he’s too stupid to run a successful business, he talks his sex game up–”
Adrian cut Sierah off and demanded to know whether Awhina said any of these comments.
“Some of the things,” Awhina admitted.
Adrian, angry, returned to the group and asked, “Do I seem dumb?”
The silence was hilariously deafening.
Ultimately, Awhina and Adrian squabbled for the rest of the evening and Sierah left the dinner early, giving off Lauren vibes.
As she left, she told producers everyone was “rabid” and she didn’t want to be friends with any of them.
Paul and Carina’s fallout
Paul clearly took the break up badly; he told the male participants before dinner started that upon reflection he realised he and Carina weren’t a good match.
He also now thinks she’s “judgemental” and a “snob.”
But most of the guys thought Paul only said all this because he was hurt.
For instance, Eliot told producers, “I think Paul feels a bit bitter… I think he’s trying to save face.”
Later during dinner, Paul told the group that Carina broke up with him because of a mistake.
Eliot asked what the mistake was and Carina lightheartedly joked that there were multiple mistakes.
Paul snapped, “There’s no point being sarcastic,” before adding that Carina “made a few mistakes” herself.
He then said that after Carina broke up with him he realised that they were never compatible and Carina was “judgemental” and had “massive trust issues.”
Carina ultimately shut him down but in a very classy way.
“That’s the end of the story guys,” she said before changing the subject.
Is Jacqui from MAFS with Clint?
Another thing that transpired at the reunion dinner party was the confirmation of Jacqui and Clint’s relationship.
Of course, Jacqui went rogue weeks ago and shared this news to a burner Instagram account, breaching her contract with Channel 9.
However, we got more details about their relationship from the episode.
“Two weeks after Final Vows, we started messaging,” Clint told the group.
Clint went on to say that he quickly realised he and Jacqui had a lot in common and so, he invited her to Tasmania (where he lives), romance blossomed, and they spent two whole weeks together.
No one believed this timeline of events though; everyone was certain Jacqui and Clint started messaging each other (and potentially began seeing each other) during the end of the experiment – when Jacqui was still with Ryan.
Ryan kept prodding Jacqui to see if he could get her to admit that she cheated on him with Clint but (in a total overreaction), Jacqui ended up SCREAMING, “I tried my ass off. My literal ass to make this relationship work… I’ve had enough of you.”
As the evening continued, Jacqui revealed she’s moving in with Clint. This led to the best quote of the whole episode:
“Wacky Jacqui takes on Tassie, I’m here for it,” Jamie told producers.
Jacqui also shared that she and Clint are starting a business together.
What that business is, we have no idea; they didn’t divulge any more details.
Are Jamie and Dave from MAFS 2025 still together?
Early in the episode, it was confirmed that Jamie and Dave have broken up.
They split three weeks after the Final Vows, when Jamie realised he wasn’t into her and never would be.
She told producers that he didn’t “have the balls” to break up with her though, so she ripped the bandaid off herself.
Near the end of the reunion dinner, the participants asked what happened between Jamie and Dave.
Dave gave a very diplomatic answer that did sugarcoat the truth a little bit.
And so, Jamie called him out.
“Can we not give a bullshit excuse? You just didn’t have feelings for me.”
She ended up crying because she couldn’t believe Dave still couldn’t be honest about his feelings.
“I didn’t expect to cry but … it’s like I was so pissed off at him for stringing me along I needed to cry,” she confessed to producers.
What’s to come?
The promo for the final episode of MAFS 2025 didn’t give too much away.
Although it does look like the experts are going to hold Paul to serious account, Jacqui and Ryan will have one last fight on the couch, and Rhi and Jeff will share a “wonderful surprise” with the group; watch this space!
When is the 2025 MAFS reunion?
The reunion dinner party episode aired on Channel 9 and 9now on Sunday, April 6 at 7pm.
The final reunion, where all of the participants will come face to face with the experts for the last time, will air on Monday, April 7 at 7.30pm.
