This year’s Married at First Sight is almost over; only the last two ‘reunion’ episodes are yet to air.
And so, if you’re wanting to fill the void that MAFS will undoubtedly leave when it ends, here are five similar shows.
Shows like MAFS:

Love is Blind
Love is Blind is like Married at First Sight’s sister.
And by that we mean, the two reality shows share several similarities: both are touted as a social experiment, and feature singles looking for love, cringeworthy moments and drama galore.
The gimmick for Love Is Blind is the participants go on speed dates in ‘pods’ – small rooms where they can talk but not see each other.
Then, over the course of 10 days, the participants can choose to go on longer dates.
However, a couple can not meet face-to-face until one proposes marriage and the other accepts.
Once the 10 days are up, all of the engaged couples head on a week-long couples retreat together; similar to the couples retreat MAFS participants go on halfway through the experiment.
Then for the final three weeks of Love Is Blind, the engaged couples live together and plan their wedding.
Then at the altar, the participants choose whether or not to get legally married; similar to MAFS’ Final Vows.

Dance Moms
If what you like most about MAFS is the participants yelling at each other over the most trivial things, you’ll love Dance Moms.
The show follows young dancers at the Abby Lee Dance Company as they train for competitions under the demanding Abby Lee Miller.
But the dancers’ passionate mothers often clash with Abby (and each other!), so Dance Moms is rife with intense screaming matches.

FBoy Island Australia
There were a few grooms in the 2025 season of MAFS who gave off ‘FBoy’ energy; we’re looking at you Teejay, Paul, and Adrian…
If you enjoyed yelling things like, ‘How could these women fall for such dubious behaviour?!?!,’ at your TV while watching this year’s MAFS, FBoy Island Australia is the show for you.
Three women go to an island in the hopes of finding love. But half of the 24 men on the island are self-proclaimed FBoys and the other half are ‘nice guys.’
At the end of eight episodes, each woman chooses a man to be with. If she chooses a nice guy, they split a $100,000 cash prize.
However, if she chooses a FBoy, he takes home $100,000 and she gets nothing.

Farmer Wants A Wife
If Love is Blind is Married at First Sight’s sister, Farmer Wants A Wife is its sweet and demure cousin.
Farmer Wants A Wife is a reality dating show, similar to The Bachelor, but there are five bachelors who are farmers.
It’s incredibly wholesome, with little to no drama – so if you like MAFS because of the few genuine couples who stick it out, you’ll love Farmer Wants A Wife.

Married at First Sight UK
This is a no brainer. It’s literally Married at First Sight Australia but set in the UK.
We have to admit though, the Aussie iteration really is more dramatic than other versions of MAFS.
But that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy Married at First Sight UK!
